Fractals of the Week: The Weird, The Strange & the Wonderful

G’day. This week has no particular theme, save the strangeness of the images, all generated by randomly (well, almost randomly…) selected formulas via Ultra Fractal, and with combinations of settings not often used before.

This selection is a collection of some of the most bizarre images I’ve done yet, and I’m hoping on the new posting schedule that I can post this entry reliably each week, rather than with time gaps of a two weeks or more as has been the case.

Anywho, I just hope that the eldritch mathematical patterns of these images don’t somehow open an interstitial rift in spacetime to the Court of the Other Gods, since I’d rather not attract the attention of any unduly irritable primal cosmic entities who may, well, lash out and destroy the planet for not having their idiot flautists handy for musical entertainment — that would be bad. Or maybe I’ve just missed playing a good game of Elder Sign for too long… Yeah, that’s it… *sigh* 😉

Anyway, here they are, each a thumbnail of a larger image sized at 2592×2592 pixels. Next week, I’ll be posting a little pre-Valentine’s day geometric badassery…See you then!
