Caturday’s Astronomy Pix for October 28 – November 3, 2012

Finally back from the game shop after a day of reading, notes-taking, and study. Yay me… I also went to a book sale at the local library, and I picked up a few things there as well. Tonight (I know I’m posting this late, but it’s still Caturday, so Mew…) I’ll post pics of my latest acquisition with this entry, a talking plushie Dalek I got as an early Festivus present–the cats don’t find it that disturbing, oddly enough, not even Nine, er, I mean, Eccleston…. Exterminate!!!

Phobos: Doomed Moon of Mars

The Red Spider Planetary Nebula

Planetary Nebula PK 164 +31.1

VdB 152: A Ghost in Cepheus

Rigel and the Witch Head Nebula

The Black Hole in the Milky Way

Hunter’s Moon over the Alps

Caturday’s Astronomy Pix is a weekly installment, published each weekend with links to each daily entry on NASA’s website Astronomy Picture of the Day. I hope you enjoy looking at these often breathtaking images as much as I do.
