  1. Very interesting.. Helpful, yet I am still wondering if these implanted memories are taken within, incorporated within the beings psycho-spiritual and/or physio-motional experience than who’s to say they are indeed “false”? In my opinion they become useful as a myth, representing for the person an imaginative tool to uncover pre-disposed triggers of discomfort or buried wounds. Now, I am not one for recreating traumas, or placing one with traumas ones does not need, but I am pretty certain that if one was suggestible than that suggests that the story could offer some healing if interpreted for instance like a dream..just some random thoughts off the top of me lil’ brain

My thinking is that the the criterion for the falseness of a memory is whether or not the events recalled in it actually represent real events, or whether they are the sole fabrication of those who implanted them: If they did actually happen as remembered then they are true, if they did not actually occur, they are false. Either way, true or false, they tell us a lot about our minds and how fallible we are, and can tell us many other things as well about ourselves.
